7 Weeks Old!
It's been 6 whole days since I last saw Penny, and I miss her terribly. I'll be seeing alot of her this weekend, but to tide me over, Mommy sent over some pictures. P-lo sure is getting bigger and cuter!

Coya's Birthday
This weekend it was Coya's birthday and to celebrate, we had a deep fry party. Deep fried pizza, deep fried mac & cheese, deep fried pickles, deep fried twinkies....unfortunately, Mommy couldn't eat any dairy because Penny may be allergic. But Papa ate for three. And washed it down with Riunite.
Not so many pictures because Nina was busy with the deep fryer, but lots of Nina's friends fell over themselves admiring P-lo, some of them had cameras. Let's hope they share.

She's back!
Penny, Mommy and Daddy got back into Chicago around 5:30 from Iowa where Penny made her Des Moines area debut. A quick phone call to Nina and Coya and everyone met up at Las Tablas, a Columbian restaurant.
Not used to the papparazzi in her face anymore, Penny told Nina to "talk to the hand" not realizing that that slang was waaay outdated.
Of course, everyone was fighting for the right to hold her first. And by everyone, we mean Nina and Coya. Nina wins round 1.
Mommy is so glad to not be in a car anymore:
After being handed off, Penny ponders being and nothingness.
Smile:
Gas:
At the end of the meal, Daddy tucks Penny into her car seat.
Pee Pee and her new friend snuggle up.
Penny can't remember if she told Nina to stop taking so many *^&$^#^ picturess.
But she doesn't have much short term memory (this is not based on any medical facts, just trying to make a joke).
Stick with me kid, and you'll go places.

Nina's Birthday
August 29th was Nina's birthday and what better way to spend it than with family!
When Nina and Coya got to Penny's house, she was still asleep in Grandpa Ed's arms.
So we packed her up in her stroller and walked to M. Henry.
Three guesses as to who they are (were) staring at.
Back at home, Penny rocks out to some Zeppelin. Where is there a lighter when you really need one?
Coya tells Penny a good knock knock joke.
This is a very funny picture of P.Lo.
P gives Nina a kiss. Or tries to bite her.
In no time, she'll be sitting up by herself.
Fast forward to dinner time and everyone is at Feed for the second time in 5 days. But man, that chicken is good!
Mommy and Penny and Nina. The table next to us couldn't stop talking about how cute Penny was. Obviously, she was the cutest baby in the room.
Daddy only had brussel sprouts and pie because 10 minutes earlier, a slice of pizza was accidentally devoured.
Patty was the first in a long line of people who wanted to hold the baby.
Of course Penny needed her Coya time.

Penny Turns 1 (Month)
And what did she want to do for her 1/12th birthday? She wanted to go to Feed and because we want to spoil her rotten, we obliged.
Unfortunately, she slept through the meal, so I had to eat her quarter white with mashed potatoes and coleslaw.
Mommy and Daddy were going to Auntie Feyi's wedding which was down the street from Coya and Nina's house, so they got to spend the afternoon with Lil Pee Pee:
Penny got to meet Neighbor Moe, who bought an outfit just for her, but for when she's a little bit bigger.
Penny mistakes Coya for a Popeye's chicken leg.

One Month!
Penelope is one month old today!
She's gained almost 2 pounds. Her neck is getting stronger every day. She's awake and alert for longer periods of time. She boxes in her sleep. And overall 100 times cuter, if that's possible.
Last weekend, she got to meet her Aunt Christa, her Uncle Brian and her cousins, Nolan and Aaron. Unfortunately, I didn't get my camera until this week, so no pictures.
I did, however, get pictures yesterday!
Penny has sweet dreams in Mommy's arms.
Someone peed on Mommy while she was being changed:

That person got a quick sink bath. And no privacy!

Somebody is c-r-a-b-b-y!
Coya's finger saves the day!
All good now.
Penny plots how she can steal Coya's necklace.
