A few weeks ago, Mommy's friend Jieb and her two boys, Aiden and Devlan came to Chicago and P-lo and Mommy met them in Chinatown for lunch.

14 Months!

Penelope is 14 months old and just when you think she can't get any cuter, she does! She's walking like a champ. She falls down every once in a while, but she picks herself right back up.

She's eating like a champ too. Lots of different things. Right now, she's really into tart, I guess. She really likes lemons.

Since fall is coming soon, Mommy and Daddy took Penny to the park.

P-lo is also good at giving kissing. And getting kisses, especially from Mommy.

13.5 months

Penelope is almost 14 months old. She's walking like a champ. She says "hi" and "ma" and "da" and "tha" (Thai for grandfather) and "nay nay" (baby talk for Nina) and "baby". She understands things and when you ask her to do something, she will.

P-lo is walking! Not just a few cautious steps, but hard core walking! Of course, she'll take some steps and fall, but she never cries and always gets up and keeps on going.

August Updates

Well, so far, Penelope's August has consisted of eating, meeting new friends, eating, visiting family, and eating.

For Mommy's birthday, we went to a place far, far away that claims to have the best fried chicken in the state. True? Or false? Who cares when a giant chicken is about to eat you?

The next day, because Coya was so sad she wasn't able to come with us for fried chicken, the family met up at Chinatown on Mommy's actual birthday and had dinner and afterwards, walked around the square.
