8 Months!

Today, Penelope turns 8 months old! Penny is doing all sorts of cool things. She can sit up by herself, she is a minute away from crawling, she is moving around alot, she can propel herself up from a sitting position too. She laughs alot and is a happy baby.

She would like to give a shout out to her new baby cousin, Dylan. Finally, someone to pick on in the future!

On Saturday, everyone went out to breakfast at Kappy's.

Everyone had eggs and potatoes and toast and coffee. P-lo had Cream of Brown/Orange Vegetable

Why is everyone looking at me like that? Do I have something on my face? Is it gone?

Later that night, Mama and Papa went to dinner with Aunt Laura and Uncle Jose and it was just the two of us. Where's Penny?

P loves the iPhone. She will pick it up before any of her toys. After two weeks of picking it up, examining it very carefully, looking at the back, looking at the front, looking at the back, over and over again, P finally decided that it was edible and chomped on it. Luckily, there were no teeth in the mouth to break (just two tiny ones). Here she is refusing to give it back:

Happy 8 months, PeePee!

Ketchup

We've got alot to catch up on. And I am in Miami for work March 16-20, so unless you want to read my blog about project management processes, this is all you're going to get from me for the next few weeks.

I got to hang out with Penny two days in a row! She just gets cuter and cuter. Mostly, we take naps. But here are some things she can do: feed herself (well, it happened once), sit up by herself (yeah, that happened once too), say "mama" (we're not sure if the neighbor heard Penelope or Annie saying that). But, she's obviously gifted because hand-mouth coordination comes much later and some adults we know fall over all the time.

Guess where Penny went for the first time out of utero?

Chinatown!

That's her BF in the background. He had an Indian Jones hat on. He was cool.

If only I could distract these people...

...I could have a taste of this delicious smelling food...Don't look at the plate! Look at me! Don't look at the plate!

Oh, great, the crazy people.

Oh, great, the other crazy people.

And the weekend before, she went to Feed for the third time in her young life. The way Papa talks about the brussel sprouts, it won't be the last time.

P-lo wishes Papa would snap out of this daydream and get her a real pillow and something she can really eat.

Penelope wonders how Papa gets his shirts so crisp.

Penelope has had enough.

See the fist? Penelope is HUNGRY.

Ummmmumummumumumu....blueberries...that's right, I'll CUT you!

Mega Super Update

From what I've been hearing, I don't update as much as I should. Work has been crazy busy and all I want to think about when I get home is my next move on Scrabulous.

I won't bore you with the details of my life. After all, you're here to see pictures of Penelope, not to learn more about me.

Shhh...don't tell Annie and Ben we think it's hilarious when her face is covered in baby food...eventually we clean it off.

Who's fussy (and with a little baby food still caked on her face)?

Penny has perfected the evil eye.
