Is it possible that Penny has reached an all-time high in her cuteness? Don't think it's possible? Well feast your eyes on this little slideshow:
We had so much fun today. Nina took care of P-lo while Papa finished up some work and Mommy ran errands.
For some reason, saying, "wha?" or "what?" makes P-lo smile and laugh.
P and N took a long, long walk through Andersonville today. P wasn't fussy at all and everyone who saw her had a smile on their face after seeing her. They finally got home after about an hour and half and even though Nina desperately needed a cup of coffee, they decided to sit on the front stoop and have some milk.
Here is Penny's best imitation of Nina, confirmed (or shall we say brought up by Coya:
What a beautiful fall day. Blue skies, breezy, and not too hot. Perfect for sitting around.
PeePee understands that as she naps, the struggle continues and she would like to say she is still in solidarity.
She's just posing in the crib. She doesn't actually sleep in it.
She's hoping if she did her best angel act, Nina would be moved to pick her up. She was right.

9 Weeks Old!
And when I got back from Vegas, what do you think is the first thing I did? I went to see my girl!
Penny wakes up from a nap only to find that the singing girl and the photographer (aka lights in my #*&&^$%$ face) are back, to her dismay.
Yeah, still not feelin' it.
Maybe if I pretend I'm sleeping...
Yeah....no.
Oh, you have milk? Why didn't you say so?
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....
Hmmmm...
Fight the whu?

8 Weeks Old!
Penelope is 8 weeks old! A few days ago, she was a little wobbly head. Today...well look at the neck control on this girl!
Hey Penny, what does a lion/tiger/bear do?
Here's Penelope with her new friend Ryan. Look how big Ryan is! He was just a baby at Penny's baby shower.
P-lo models the bathing suit given to her by Ryan's mommy.
P-lo feels like the joke may be on her:
Cute!

Part 2 of Weekend Fun
As promised, here are my photos from the weekend.
Penny does her best Eminem impersonation.
Here she is with her new BFF, Mr. Duckie the Pacifier.
This is what happens when there's no pacifier and someone has had a long car ride.
PeePee's first Costco shopping trip. Of course, she would fall asleep in the car and the moment we parked the car (or when our food was served), she would be wide awake and hungry!
Whoops, we forgot something:
Someone is exhausted after an entire afternoon of being pushed in a stroller, being held (but P-lo did come in handy...everyone is nicer to you when you have a baby and Nina did NOT want to wait in line at the Apple store), being fed, and having her clothes changed for her.
Grandpa Ed's breakfast was placed in front of him seconds before this picture was taken.
Back at home and Penny gets ready for a bath, her new favorite activity.
But, first...P-lo does her best John Travolta.
P-lo shows solidarity for the struggle.

Weekend Fun
I spent the whole weekend with Penny and I'm happy to report that she is still the cutest baby ever! I still have to upload my photos, but Annie sent me a whole bunch we took with their camera.
So many changes since last Sunday when we saw her at Coya's birthday party. She can almost hold her neck up by herself. She's super alert and a wiggly little one, always moving her legs and arms. She like it when you hold her by her arms and let her "walk". She's also smiling a bit more and laughing, but with no sound.
She's using a pacifier now. Sometimes it falls out of her mouth (and sometimes she pulls it out!) but for the most part, it keeps her happy.
Penny is an intense baby! She just stared and stared at me with this look on her face.
Papa was gone on a camping trip/bachelor party for Uncle Ted. Penny used the opportunity to sleep through the night for the first time. Well, from 11pm to 6am, but that's pretty good!
Here she is, early morning stretching:
Watchu talkin' about, Willis?
She spent a lot of time in her car seat this weekend and even though she hates being strapped down, she was a good sport about it.
And Sunday afternoon, after trying for an hour to get her to sleep, I just stuck her in the Baby Bjorn and she was out like a light.
More pictures to come later this evening!
